A personal blog, a growing team, or a publication powered by the API — we’ll help you find the right allowance.

Your weekly allowance resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Drafts and edits to articles you’ve already published don’t use a new publishing slot.

A few useful details

Before you begin.

What happens when I reach the weekly allowance?

Your existing articles stay online and editable. You can prepare drafts, publish again next week, or contact us for a higher allowance. New manuscripts have a separate daily allowance of three per day on the free plan.

Can I schedule a story?

Yes, through the publishing API. A scheduled story reserves a slot in the week it will be published, so you can plan ahead. Changing the time of an upcoming publication moves that reservation.

Does the limit apply to a headless blog?

Yes. The allowance covers articles published through the dashboard or API across your account, including headless blogs. Drafts remain private and don’t use a weekly publishing slot.

Will deleting or unpublishing a story restore a slot?

No. The allowance counts publications, even if you later delete or unpublish them. You can edit and republish the same article without using another slot after it has gone live.
